Configure - Polycom IP335

Find the IP address of the Polycom phone.

  1. Click the Menu button.
  2. Scroll to Status and click on the Checkmark (center of arrow keys).
  3. Scroll to Network click on the Checkmark.
  4. Leave TCP/IP Parameters selected and click on the Checkmark.
  5. Use the IP address to access the web interface.

Once logged into the IP335 do the following to configure the phone.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Lines

     
  3. Enter in the Display Name
  4. Enter in the Address (DID or Account)
  5. Enter in the Label (extension)
  6. Enter in the User ID and Password
  7. Enter in the server Address: sip.sipresource.com (Scroll down to see #8)

  8. Check the Callback Mode to Contact
  9. Enter the Callback Contact with *98
  10. Click Save.

  11. Go to Settings
  12. Select Audio Codec Profiles

  13. Use Codecs: G729AB and G711Mu (PCMU)
  14. Click Save 

  15. Go to Preferences
  16. Select Date & Time

  17. Select SNTP Server: north-america.pool.ntp.org or pool.ntp.org
  18. Select the Time Zone from the Dropdown
  19. Click Save.

  20. Go to Settings
  21. Select SIP

  22. Change the Digitmap (Please refer to the following KB Article on the Digit Map)
    1. Original Digitmap: [2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxT  
    2. Modified Digitmap: [2-9]11|x.T|*xxT
  23. Change the Digitmap Timeout:
    1. Original Digitmap Timeout: 3|3|3|3|3|3
    2. Modified Digitmap Timeout: 3|3|3
  24. Click Save
